"I want to briefly talk about the blessing and the benefit and the blessing that I've experienced as a student here at CFCI bible college," said Mr. Sabbath.
"From setting up the church every week from being a worship leader a the age of 12, who could only play the piano with three fingers, to being a Sunday school teacher at the age of 14, to being used behind the prophet.
"I sail with this not for self-glorification but to make a point tonight. Through all those years at the ministry, it was only this year that I made a decision to properly sit under the word and study the word for myself in a school setting for the very first time."
Mr. Sabbath grew up in a Christian household with strong biblical morals and he has been serving alongside his parents and ministry for 12 years.
The Associate Minister for Education, Agaseata Valelio Tanuvasa spoke on behalf of the government. He acknowledged and congratulated the graduates and the bible college for their service in guiding the lives of Samoans towards the word of God.
"I, on behalf of the government, wish to thank and congratulate this college for all the good work you have done in educating our people on the word of God," said Agaseata. "We also thank and congratulate the graduates for their perseverance from the beginning of this year to this day.
"My advice is, may you all remember this day as a useful lesson and reminder for the future while serving God. May you all remember the sweetness of success and strive for the word of God this whole year.
"God has prepared you all for his work, through spreading his word wherever you will be called in this country and around the globe. May you continue to develop as leaders, making a lasting impact in every area of your life.
"To the staff, thank you for shaping these individuals, into the people they are today."
