Vodafone in partnership with Ria Money Transfer

Mobile phone company Vodafone Samoa has announced a partnership with a global remittance service provider to receive funds from overseas through its local mobile wallet M-Tala.
The partnership between Vodafone Samoa and Ria Money Transfer will give the mobile phone company's customers options to receive funds from overseas through M-Tala, according to a media release issued by the company this year.
With Ria's extensive network spanning over 160 countries and reaching four billion bank accounts, this collaboration presents an opportunity for M-Tala Money Wallet to expand its reach beyond New Zealand and Australia, connecting Samoa with a broader global network. According to Vodafone Samoa, the partnership allows Samoans around the world to send money back home, supporting their families and contributing to the prosperity of their communities.
Vodafone Samoa C.E.O. Rana Bose, when announcing the partnership, said they were elated at the partnership and giving their customers the ability to support the growth of Samoa's economy.
"We are thrilled to announce this momentous partnership between Vodafone Samoa's M-Tala Money Wallet and Ria Money Transfer," said Mr. Bose. "This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to empower our customers and support Samoa's economy.
