Message of love through songs
Music is the food love and with this intent the New Wine Worship Centre have started the Christmas season with the release of their two new songs written and produced by the New Wine Worship team.
Their purpose behind this is reaching out to the people of Samoa and spreading love, hope and the gospel.
Worship Leader and Overseer of the Worship team Pastor Manasa Aloali'i said the songs were written and completed a while back.
"The songs was birthed from their hearts, and was already written in words but we wanted to wait on God for the right time to proceed with the recordings and release them," he said
"With prompting from the Holy Spirit and words of affirmation from our Senior Pastor, Dr Paul Matamua, who preached a message saying that if we lift up the name of Jesus, people will draw nigh unto Him. That was our sign"
The message behind their songs and recording project was to reach out to every soul and have them encounter Jesus through the melody and lyrics.
They want to spread the good news and ensure everyone gets the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ all through Songs of Worship and Praise.
"We didn't do it for the money nor for fame, but to reach out to people so that they know that God loves them and why he had died for us. That night people answered the alter call and gave their lives to Christ ," he said.
For them, it was enough to see people answer the alter call that night. It was worth the wait. They feel truly blessed to have finished a major project for the year.
The New Wine Choir and Band are excited to see what God has in store for them and truly believe that to pursue God first and His righteousness, and everything else will fall into place for them and their families.
