Freedom of religion to be banned
Dear Editor,
Our Prime Minister La’auli Leuatea Schmidt has already announced that he and his Faatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi Party will amend the Constitution to allow only Christian religions in Samoa.
He does not have the number of MP’s required to amend the Constitution.
He also does not know that Article 1 (3) of our Constitution states that Samoa is a Christian nation founded on God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Article II further states that every person in Samoa has the right to Freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
Israel is not a Christian country.
When Jesus, our Saviour, was crucified, the Jewish people had already pronounced that the blood of the Son of God be upon them and their children!
The crime of deicide, therefore, continues to be borne by the Israel people from generation to generation until the day that Israel acknowledges that the Saviour, promised by the prophets, was the one they had crucified.
When that day happens, the end of the world and the last Judgment Day will take place.
Meanwhile, fixing our shortages of medical supplies and electricity blackouts is the most immediate priority for our people!
