Admit the crime, it's been too long
Dear Editor,
With all this hooha going on with the court case? There is one great big glaring question, isn’t there? Who did it?
Who is the scum bag (a term used by Australian Prime Minister – Paul Keating) who ran that young man down and left him there to die.
Whoever it was is in the gutter inside themselves for the rest of their lives!
How often do we hear of some big, tough guy who has committed a heinous crime, denies it, then, when the court case is in progress, they are found to be guilty? All of a sudden, they are gentle little lambs and want to perform some sort of primaeval ritual of sitting in the family’s front yard, with a mat stuck over their head, in a form of outdated apology. Which, of course, is just an attempt to get the judge to take time off his sentence. Anyone performing that kind of farce these days should get extra time added!
What they deserve, of course, is for one of the family to get their biggest fry pan they have (teflon optional) and give him a rather large bop on his horrible melon, to make the pan ring like a bell and then tell him to ….. off from my front yard – NOW.
It is a terrible thing to run someone over, and most time, of course, it is an accident, but to leave someone dying is the most gutless thing anybody could possibly do.
Whoever did it, male or female, stop all this nonsense you’re putting everybody through, worst of all, the young man’s family. Have the guts to come forward and admit what you have done – immediately!
