Samoa deserves clarity on the Prime Minister’s health

It has now been four weeks since Prime Minister Laaulialemalietoa Leuatea Schmidt was admitted to Middlemore Hospital in New Zealand. Deputy Prime Minister Toelupe Poumulinuku Onesemo confirmed this week that the Prime Minister remains under medical care and “is unable to stand,” adding that doctors have advised him not to travel until fully recovered.
