St Joseph’s College is the first secondary school to be established in Samoa. It is also the only remaining boys' college in Samoa. This week, it is celebrating its 75th Jubilee from July 17th to 20th. It opened its doors as Marist Brothers’ High School to 19 students in 1950, with Brother Jerome Devlin as its first Principal. It was later renamed St Joseph’s College when it relocated to a newly acquired property at Lotopa in 1960 because the College roll had grown and Mulivai had become congested.
