Between the Lines

46 YEARS

FAUTASI

The latest news coming from Pago Pago is that three of the five fautasi crew scheduled to compete in the Independence Day races are pulling out. This is happening despite all costs being covered and the government being willing to waive all permits for the trip.

FINANCIAL

Just two months remain for the government’s financial year to end. In this short time, the government needs to get the remaining $600,000 to all districts and ensure that the school grants are distributed.

BREAK-IN

Homes around Vaitele have reported an increase in theft. A family left their home before 7 am to beat the morning traffic on Friday. At 8 am, their neighbour called to report a break-in.

SEEDS
