PARADE

There is no word if there is going to be a Christmas parade this year. The organisers had already pulled the plug on a few events earlier, citing a lack of funds. Could there still be hope for one this year?

VENTURES

Some foreign-owned businesses are venturing out into other sectors reserved for locals. Some are known to have been renting a retail business and are now moving into the construction industry.

RISKY

Heavy rain has caused rivers to swell up on the big island. The Irish Crossings or fords in areas like Lano had high levels of water flowing with force. This did not stop some from taking the risk and crossing it.

TRUCK TRAYS

Sitting in truck trays poses safety risks, and these are enhanced when people are consuming alcohol. There may be no law against this, but it increases the probability of a mishap.

BUSY

The boys in blue were kept busy on Saturday. Traffic was chalk-a-bloc,k and then there were the assaults and fights that started because people were consuming alcohol in public. Christmas is four days away, let us keep it safe.

TOP 100

A few players with Samoan links have made it into the top 100 rugby players of 2025. Sadly, none of them play for the Manu Samoa.
