Between the Lines

CONCERNED

Concerns were flagged by a government agency a few years ago about dealings between politicians and those with links to those on the most-wanted list. Who could these politicians be?

IMPORTANT

The Deputy Prime Minister has been away in Belgium on important duties. A neighbouring Pacific nation sent an Assistant Minister, while the big guns from Samoa were in Brussels. It sounds very important.

STAY SAFE

Rainy weather will be with us for some time. As a precaution, please avoid taking the roads known for landslides and flooding.

TRAPPED

Residents of Moamoa want to know if the district grants will go towards the construction of a bridge that will avoid flooding and trapping residents during heavy rain. More money has been given this time, perhaps it could happen.

RODENTS

Some residents living near newly constructed warehouses for wholesaling are worried about an ensuing rodent problem. Some claim, they were never notified of an objection period for such constructions.

OUTAGE

Many Vaitele residents and those connected to the Industrial Feeder were left in the dark due to an unplanned power outage. Luckily, it just lasted 10 to 15 minutes. Some started having dejavu about the blackouts in February.
