Between the Lines
TALENT
Who was the politician who pretended to be someone else when posed a question by a journalist on a phone call? Our elected leaders are surely talented.
SMOKERS
Laws are needed to deter people from smoking in buses. Passengers were spotted in a few buses smoking away without consideration for the non-smokers. The weekend buses also involve people drinking alcohol while travelling.
LIGHTS
Do government vehicles, apart from police and emergency services, need to have flashing red lights? A few vehicles belonging to departments other than the emergency responders have been seen with flashing red lights on their dashboards.
ABUSE
Great use of government vehicles, as one was seen stopped over at a clothing store. A young woman stepped out and minutes later returned with what looked like a dress that she had ordered.
PRICES
We are halfway through the tenth month of the year, and there is still no price control order in place. If the bureaucratic red tape stopping ministries from better cooperating is not working, they need to go. The bottom line is that people are being impacted.
