Between the Lines

AT LARGE

The prison escapee is still at large. The prison should fly a drone and do an aerial search. Maybe the reward money for the man’s capture needs to be increased.

GARAGE SALE

A Samoan garage sale is where you only pay $10 less than the original price of an item. Totally unique unlike garage sales in other countries where people just pay 10 per cent of the price for an item.

POWER PATROL

Police need to be deployed to patrol areas where power outages occur. There have been reports of burglary in some areas affected by the power.

METERS

The power company is yet to be given the green light to use the new smart meters after the Regulator put a stop to it. Many housing developers are concerned as the old meters are now obsolete.

MEMBERSHIP

The red-party has been having its membership drive. Samoans anywhere in the world can register to be a member for $20. The currency has to be from whichever country they are in. What does a political party membership mean?

ROUGH SEAS

A fisherman is missing at sea and police search has been halted because of the weather. If the weather offices says it is dangerous out in the sea, they are not joking.
