The sale of icing sugar has increased after the shortage of sugar in Samoa. Many families are substituting icing sugar for normal sugar for use in tea and other things. Not a very healthy choice.


An expat selected to head a body dealing with consumer rights may have shares in a local company. Does this compromise his role and is there a conflict of interest?

Looks like an investigation is needed at the superannuation authority. A timer should be put up to see how much time it will take the government to conduct one.


People can go hungry but tourists must be given a chance to get off and see beautiful Samoa. Why the priority was not given to the supply ship that would restock supermarkets?  


People better tie their dogs in August as the Tour of Samoa cycling race will take place. The major event will include cycling around Upolu and Savaii up to 50 kilometres per day.
