They should stay there until a cure is found. They should be patient because if they want to come. They might come with the disease and it will spread in our country. Our country is really small and we have a small population. If the disease gets here then there will be no Samoa.

I heard there are a lot of cases of the disease (COVID-19) in Australia. Borders should not be opened up for people to go to work as seasonal workers in other countries such as Australia because once they return they might bring the disease to Samoa. They should wait until the pandemic stops spreading around the world then they can go work overseas.

The opportunities are good for the families here in Samoa but the only reason why they are affected by COVID-19 abroad is that they go to places where they are not supposed to go to. If you protect yourself then you will be safe from everything.

They should do medical checks at the hospital to find out if they are affected by the disease. Then they should have a medical certificate before they come back to Samoa. So when someone comes, they will come with a medical certificate. They should have all documentation to let us or the doctors know that they have done a medical check, and that’s when we will know that our country will be safe.

I don’t think they should go back. The future is important but we should look at the impact of the disease. There is a lot of problems that are happening because of the disease. My opinion is that they shouldn’t go back to work.

If they go, then they shouldn’t come back. They should stay there until there is no more COVID-19 but they should still send money to help their families. They shouldn’t come back until there is no more disease.
