The Apia Men's League [A.M.L.] cricket tournament is 10 weeks away from the final with 16 teams vying for top honours in a round robin format.

All matches are being held at the Tuanaimato cricket ground with the organisers branding the tournament their biggest for the year due to the number of teams registering.

Samoa Cricket is using their tournaments to select players for the Samoa national men's team as well as their U-19 who will compete in the International Cricket Council [I.C.C.] and East Asia Pacific [E.A.P.] competition scheduled for this year.

Despite the COVID-19 global pandemic, Samoa Cricket is keen to progress their plans to run domestic competitions with a focus on identifying potential players to become representative players. 

Their highlight for the A.M.L. is the participation of new teams such as Solosolo and two teams from Falelauniu.

Fetu i Sasae from Fusi Safata is still the defending champion of the cricket shield despite other teams challenging the shield holder who still were able to defend their title.

Samoa Cricket said it acknowledges the support of their sponsors, the general manager, management and staff members of the Special Occasion Supplies for supporting their cause.

Maaseugogo A 10-92-12.3 - Phantoms 10-59-10.4 = Maaseugogo Won with 33 runs.

Alafua Raiders 10-128-20 - Faleasiu B 10-17-8.2 = Alafua Raiders won with 11 runs.

Vailele EFKS 3-204-20 - Faleasiu A 10-26-9.4 = Vailele EFKS wins with 178 runs.

Young Eagles 10-124-17 - Maaseugogo 2 10-36-11.4 = Young Eagles wins with 88 runs.

Bradaz 10-128-14.1 - Falelauniu B 10-25-8.3 = Bradaz wins with 103 runs.

Afaluko 10-56-11.5 - Falelauniu A 5-58-8.2 = Falelauniu A wins with 5 wickets.

Apia West 10-49-11.1 - Fetu i Sasae 2 10-36-12.4 = Apia West wins with 13 runs.

Fetu i Sasae 1 10-178-19.2 - Seahorse 10-46-7.1 = Fetu I Sasae wins with 132 runs for the shield match.

And Fetu i Sasae #1 wins $200 tala cash prize from SOS.
