His team will play Cook Islands club Tupapa Maraerenga in Auckland, New Zealand at 5 pm Samoan time having already beaten Veitongo 2-0 in their first game of the qualifying stage.
That win puts the Samoan club in the box seat to be one of the two teams to go through, but Fa'
"It’s better to be safe, to win the last game as well," he said.
"We never know what is going to happen, so we are now focusing draw or win."
After the game on Saturday, Lupe had a break on Sunday before getting back into training on Monday.
“We need to improve our passing and movement and finishing. Finishing is the main key.”
A fair bit of that attacking burden falls on newly-recruited English forward Matthew Chant, who joined the team when they arrived in Auckland last week.
"He shows great ability for the boys, to lead the front and scored the first goal for our team which was really good and a good example for the boys," Fa'
Chant's fellow striker Albert Bell dropped into midfield on Saturday when Va'a Taualai picked up a first half injury and was substituted.
"We will check [on Monday] after his recovery session and we will see if we’ll take the risk or we’re going to be resting him," Fa'aeanu'u said.
