Manu Samoa midfielder, Rey Lee-Lo, is ready for the next chapter of his professional rugby journey in Europe.

The former Super rugby player with the Crusaders and the Hurricanes, who was born in Vailima, has signed a new contract with Cardiff Blues.

"I'm really happy to sign this new deal and commit my future to Cardiff Blues. I really feel like we're building something special here," Lee-Lo is quoted as saying by the BBC.

"It's also good to be part of a really exciting backline, and I'm looking forward to seeing how we kick on over the next few months."

The BBC also quotes the coach of Cardiff Blues, John Mulvihill, welcoming the 33-year-old Samoan.

"We consider Rey to be the best outside centre in the competition," he said.

"He's been an outstanding and consistent performer for the region since arriving. He leads the way for us, both in attack and defence, and his performances have seen him become a true fan favourite at the Arms Park."

Lee-Lo made his debut for the Manu Samoa in 2014 against Canada.

He was an integral part of Coach Steve Jackson’s 2019 World Cup squad until he was banned for a dangerous tackle.
