Fa’amausili signs with Moana Pasifika
Moana Pasifika have locked in formidable Wallabies prop Pone Fa’amausili for the 2025 season indicating their intent to become a powerhouse.
Standing at 6ft 5, Fa’amausili is a devastating ball-runner who boosts Moana Pasifika’s front row.
The 27-year-old is of Samoan descent and was raised in Melbourne, Australia. He is from the Villages of Malie and Vailoa Palauli.
Following a stint with the Melbourne Rising in the National Rugby Championship, he made his Super Rugby debut for the Melbourne Rebels in 2018.
Fa’amausili has played seven tests for Australia, including at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
He said: "I'm extremely excited at the opportunity ahead with Moana Pasifika, to be able to share my knowledge and experiences and also learn from a talented group of men. Being able to learn from a coach like Tana is really exciting for myself."
