Probe into new L.T.C. Deputy President
The Minister of Justice, Matamua Vasati Pulufana, has major concerns over the appointment of a new Deputy President to the Land and Titles Court of Samoa (L.T.C.), a decision that will now come under Cabinet review, the Samoa Observer can reveal.
Samoa's Prime Minister, Fiame Naomi Mata'afa - who was kept in the dark about the new appointment - described it as a "lapse" contained within the passage of the three bills overhauling the judicial system and creating an independent L.T.C. last year.
