Tax governance issues discussed constructively: E.U.
The European Union (E.U.) says it appreciates the efforts Samoa has made to date to address its categorisation as a "non-cooperative jurisdiction for tax purposes".
The E.U. continues to include Samoa in a list of nine states which it has categorised as non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes whom it is working with to tackle tax fraud or tax evasion, tax avoidance and money laundering.
