Samoa’s Ambassador to Fiji has urged the Ministry of Health to reconsider a mandatory COVID-19 testing requirement for Samoan residents in Fiji wanting to return home, due to the service not being available on the island.

Fiji-based Samoan citizens are preparing for the repatriation flight home next week, but are unable to get the mandatory blood serology for COVID-19 antibody tests done in Fiji, in order to adhere to the conditions set by Samoa's Ministry of Health.
