H.R.P.P. retains two seats, preliminary count shows
The Human Rights Protection Party (H.R.P.P.) has only managed to increase the total number of constituencies they’ve won in the by-elections by two, preliminary count results released on Friday evening show.
The preliminary results – which will be officially recounted and certified by the Office of the Electoral Commission (O.E.C.) on Monday before the declarations on Tuesday – show candidates endorsed by the Fa’atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (F.A.S.T.) party dominated the by-elections to win in four constituencies.
