AUKUS pact must be reviewed regionally: Samoa's P.M.

Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa believes that Australia's recent deal to acquire nuclear-powered submarines in a new security pact with the United States and Britain dubbed AUKUS needs to be "fairly reviewed" within the region. 

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Observer, Fiame said that there are treaties and agreements relating to "nuclear issues" within the region to address rhetoric, especially from China, about the new introduction of nuclear technology into the region.
