Go into lockdown to maintain status: Tuilaepa

The nation needs to go into lockdown for Samoa maintains its COVID-free status, says former prime minister Tuilaepa Dr. Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, following the breakout of a quarantined seasonal worker.

The appeal by the leader of the Human Rights Protection Party (H.R.P.P.) comes on the back of 26-year-old Ioane Taualamai Ponifasio fleeing his quarantine site on Wednesday to visit four different locations in Apia for some three hours before he was recaptured.
