Court adjourns P.M.s trial to December

The District Court has adjourned a hearing into bribery and treating charges against Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa to December after the defence lawyer asked for adjournment.

Fiame, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, La’auli Leuatea Schmidt and the Minister of Public Enterprises, Leatinuu Wayne Sooialo were represented during the hearing on Monday by overseas lawyer Kieran Raftery QC.
