Samoa Airways' finances crash
A new report has laid bare the precarious state of Samoa’s national carrier, which incurred operating losses of more than $37 million over the past two financial years.
The Ministry of Public Enterprises report shows the airline to be functionally bankrupt, with its liabilities exceeding the sum total of its assets by more than $17.5 million.
