Following the recent gifting of a brand new Toyota Landcruiser in its School Work and Play campaign, Digicel continues to reward its customers with an array of promotions such as Top Up and Win, Shake to Win and a social media campaign ‘Shake it Mama’.

A total of 44 Digicel loyal customers gathered at the telecommunication company’s main office in town on Wednesday to receive prizes from the various promotions last Friday.

In the Top Up and Win Promotion, customers could win up to $50,000 tala worth of cash as well as mobile phones and shopping vouchers.

Furthermore, a Mother’s Day campaign was rolled out over the past two weeks with the Shake to Win promotion for all customers buying bundles via the MyDigicel App.

Daily prizes included Samsung TV’s, refrigerators, washing machines, electric oven, sofa lounge sets, microwave, toaster, blender and Lava Hotel accommodation packages.

One of the winners, Reupena Uale said in an interview with Digicel that winning a Samsung TV has made him excited.

“I’ve been with Digicel (as a customer) for so many years and each year I am always seeing them giving back to our people in many ways, through promotions, community work and sponsorship,” he said.

“This is an early gift for my mum on Mother’s Day and quite possibly the most expensive, thank you Digicel.”

Digicel made sure to stir up the fun on social media targeting mothers in Samoa with the Shake it Mama Facebook challenge, allowing their followers to become creative and describe the qualities of their mothers.

The comments that followed in response to that campaign was a mixture of fun and Samoan humor.

The winners of the challenge were rewarded with $1200 worth of cash and shopping vouchers with Digicel continuing to reward their customers with the popular Cash Call and Shake to Win promotions.
