Party divisions intensify; pre-poll closing
The results show 16 people on Upolu and two on Savaii made informal ballots, meaning the officials could not interpret their choice.

With more than 70 per cent of pre-poll ballots cast, divisions between the incumbent Human Rights Protection Party (H.R.P.P.) and Faatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (F.A.S.T.) party deepened on Wednesday night.
