A Coronial Inquest into the deaths of a Pastor and a female congregation member, who were found dead in a Nissan Cube last year, is scheduled to commence next month.

The inquest into the deaths will be heard before District Court Judge Alalatoa Rosella Papali'i from 7 September 2020.

The Senior Pastor of the Assembly of God Falelauniu, Pastor Lui Seve, and Malaea Ioane, a female member of his congregation in her 40s, were found in the vehicle in late July last year.

Police found the two dead in the backseat of a Nissan Cube near the United Nations offices in Tuanaimato.

Rev. Seve was missing for most of the day and did not turn up to the church evening prayer meeting.

The Motootua hospital confirmed that the bodies of Rev. Seve and Mrs. Ioane arrived at 2am the morning of Wednesday, 31 July, 2019.

They were declared deceased on arrival.

Autopsies were completed in early August of 2019.
