Samoa's newest rental units property, Vaiula Riverside Homes, officially opened at Vailele on Friday.

Owned by Lutuiloa Vaiula Solomona, the opening of the property was dedicated to her mother, the late Fuamata Sialaoa Pagamalie.

Vaiula Riverside Homes offers five rental units and according to Lutuiloa, the units are luxurious, comfortable, and still affordable for the people of Samoa.

Lutuiloa told the Samoa Observer in an interview that the opening of Vaiula Riverside Homes also marks one year since her mother’s passing.

“Our family has come together to celebrate life, celebrate the memory of our mom and celebrate Vaiula Riverside Homes,” she said.

She stated that Vaiula Riverside Homes is a family business and these are the blessings from their mother.

“I hope that V.R.H brings another added value to the already existing rental projects because this is not the first one, there are many many projects around,” she said.

According to Lutuiloa, Vaiula Riverside Homes already has one tenant who is an elderly woman.

“We have one tenant already and she is a retired old lady. She is loving her privacy and she is enjoying her retirement,” she said.

Lutuiloa stated that she hopes that the people they would like to attract to stay at Vaiula Riverside Homes are those who are retired.

“Peace and quiet, secured. The homes contain everything, hot water, air conditioning,” she said.

Lutuiloa also revealed that Vaiula Riverside Homes included a Gazebo instead of a swimming pool as the common area for the tenants. According to her, the Gazebo is a place for the tenants to be happy and for them to share such as times where they host birthday parties.

“This is for them to share,” she said.

Lutuiloa explained that Vaiula Riverside Homes is family-oriented and at the same time they want to develop their own little community once the houses are fully occupied.
