Member of Parliament for Urban West, Faumuina Wayne Fong has been sacked from the ruling Human Rights Protection Party.

Prime Minister and leader of H.R.P.P. Tuilaepa Dr. Sailele Malielegaoi confirmed the decision to sack Faumuina after the party's meeting last Friday.

Asked why Faumuina was sacked, Tuilaepa said the party does not need members that are betraying Government, in reference to the party of Government.

"We don’t need members who don’t come in to support the Government, the H.R.P.P," said Tuilaepa.

Faumuina including Independent M.P. for Salega East, Olo Fiti Vaai, and Gagaifomauga no3 M.P., La'aulialemalietoa Leuatea Polataivao has been recently labelled as a “party of three” by the Prime Minister.

The three Members won Tuilaepa’s scorn for publicly criticising Government developments and asking questions critical of pulic works.

Attempts are being made to get a comment from Faumuina.

More to come.
