Australian gambling company, T.M.S. Global Services, has launched an investigation into allegations by former Samoa Sportslotto employees claiming the company is manipulating the Australian Tattslotto products it sells. 

T.M.S. Global is in agreement with Samoa Sportslotto to resell lottery entries in Samoa.

The investigation was confirmed by Matt Hart, a spokesman for Tabcorp Lotteries and Keno, which ultimately holds the rights to Tattslotto in Australia and T.M.S. Global. 

"Tabcorp [has] recently been informed that certain allegations have been made by two former employees of Samoa Sportslotto," he wrote in response to questions from this newspaper.

"T.M.S. Global Services have advised Tabcorp that they are investigating the matter, including the nature of these allegations.

"Tabcorp has not received any complaints in relation to this matter. Given this is the subject of an ongoing investigation we do not intend to comment further at this point."

This comes after the management of Samoa Sportslotto announced the legal move two weeks ago saying they have filed a complaint with police over the allegations.

Although they only mentioned one employee.

Followup questions sent to the company Chief Executive Officer, Tuala Tamaalelagi Siaki on Saturday, asking if the inquiries were instigated in Samoa or Australian, were not responded to.

In the past few weeks, the former Sportlotto employee has used Facebook to make allegations against the Samoan company. 

According to the company's public statement, the company had become made aware of social media posts by an employee who was recently terminated.

The company says the social media posts made by the former employee included false and defamatory allegations that the company was cheating its customers.

“The employee terminated was a pull tab seller – terminated for breaching company policy and at no time was she an operator and does not know how to use the Australian T.M.S. System,” the statement said. 

“At no time was she an operator selling T.M.S. products.”

The Samoa Sportslotto also assured the public that their T.M.S. gambling products are managed and operated by Tatts Australia so the integrity of all games is guaranteed. 

“All our T.M.S. Customers are registered on the T.M.S. System and are all well aware that when they do not claim their win within the stipulated time.

“A list with the names of all our winning customers is posted for them to be aware of [... and to] claim their cheque(s) from our office (which is posted directly from Australia).

“All our T.M.S. customers are well aware of this system and are confident and assured of the integrity of the T.M.S. games."
