NUS closes its art exhibition

The National University of Samoa art exhibition closed on Friday and it was a ‘successful ‘ event for Mrs Leua Latai.
“It was a successful event in terms of the students and our guest artist painting got sold, well most of them,” she said.
The students were able to paint 145 paintings and more than 100 paintings have been sold out.
“More than 100 paintings have been sold out and most of our buyers are from our university, parents and other people who are interested in arts,” she added.
According to Mrs Latai the Vice Chancellor bought paintings from each student to show his support.
“There were people who bought our paintings like the VC, he bought one each from each students painting. He shows his support and also some of our NUS lecturers, our library and parents as well,” she said.
One of the guest artists who painted a photo called the ‘Moonlight’.
