Thomas Campbell was last in Samoa in 2001 and returns after 18 years, though this time for a family wedding.

Living in Australia with his family, Mr. Campbell and his wife Sarah and children Thomas and Azaliah are off to Savai'i for a family-connected wedding and will spend two weeks in the country.

“I came when I was really young and now its different as I have come as adults with my own family, but now its a lot different to what I use to remember,” he said.

Their visit to Samoa also coincided with the recent-concluded Pacific Week of Agriculture show at the Malaefatu Park in town.

Mr. Campbell said they arrived on Wednesday evening when the show had just started and it was a good opportunity for himself and his family to see what was on offer.

“Its good is to see what's Agriculture is because I don’t know what it is like, but this is the first exposure to the agriculture section,” he said.

For Mrs. Campbell it is first time lucky for her and the children as they have never been to Samoa before until they all flew in together for the family wedding.

“It's really great and the people are very friendly also we have some place to walk to because we are staying at the hotel,” she added.

With two weeks to spare, Mrs. Campbell said she looked forward to seeing more of Samoa before they returned to Australia.

“Learning about his culture, going to his village and let the kids to the animals also I wanting to see a lots of beach,” she said.
