“The truth is that you really can’t place a monetary value on helping your neighbour because this is what we should be doing all the time where possible. Receiving blessings and prayers for our company from those we help is priceless” –Fuimaono Hugo Betham

God has blessed us to be a blessing to others.

That’s what drives the continuous interest of charity work by the Betham Brothers Enterprises (B.B.E.) for the people of Samoa over the years.

General Manager, Fuimaono Hugo Betham said there is always a corporate responsibility for them to give back to the community. And we’ve seen this time and time again over the years where the company has gone out of their way to help hundreds of Samoans.

For the past two years, many of them had stories featured in the Village Voice section of the Samoa Observer.

Fuimaono said they feel blessed to be able to help.

“We acknowledge the blessings received from God and act accordingly by his Word,” Fuimaono said.

“Betham Brothers Enterprises has been doing this for many years now by way of various charity work, fundraising, sports sponsorship and others.”

“The support given to your Village Voice for the past two years is an extension of our community giving and support.”

This year is a big one for B.B.E. It is their 25th Annivesary.

“As we celebrated our 25th year anniversary as a company, we can safely say that both our short and long-term goals have been achieved.”

“However in saying that, the long-term goal now is to carry on another 25 years of service for the people of Samoa.”

B.B.E. is the only fully-owned local shipping agent and one of the few local transport providers for cargo.

“Our aim is to continue to provide the best possible service for our many clients and principals alike,” he said.

“Hopefully our 25 years of service has reflected this commitment and longevity and by the grace of God we will continue to provide long-term employment opportunities for our people to serve our Country.”

But how does helping others support the company’s mission and goal success?

“As a family company, we recognize the need to support each other and this value is extended through B.B.E’s community support.”

“Our faith in God is our company’s foundation and is carried on from our family values where we recognize the need to help those who are less fortunate, hence our commitment to helping others.”

“We have grown through the past 25 years and look to diversify from our core services going forward, but are leaving this in God’s hands to bless these plans.”

To the Betham Brother Enterprises “integrity, honesty, loyalty and commitment is never compromised and like all aspiring companies, hard work will always get you there and faith in God will take you even further.”

“The truth is that you really can’t place a monetary value on helping your neighbour because this is what we should be doing all the time where possible,” Fuimaono said.

“Receiving blessings and prayers for our company from those we help is priceless.”

He acknowledged everyone for their continuous support to the company.

“We always give thanks and praise to God first and foremost for all he has done for our company and our staff.”

“We thank the founding Brothers of B.B.E. (Masoe Henry Betham, Afamasaga Daniel Betham, Fanene Mark Betham and Toleafoa Elon Betham) for their commitment to starting this company and for their Godly and family values instilled in our management and staff.”

“We thank our partners for their support and a special mention for Budget Rentals/T.P.T. for joining us in supporting the Village Voice recipients for this year.”

“To other local companies who have also been in the forefront in supporting the community and whom we have followed in their footsteps. Fa’afetai tele lava.”

“We plan to grow and continue this support each year. Happy New Year Samoa and God Bless.”
