Digicel Samoa has launched new telecommunications towers in Samalaeulu and Falelima to improve mobile and data connectivity for customers across Savai’i.

The two new towers are part of Digicel Samoa’s continued network expansion and its commitment to providing reliable, high-quality services for communities across the country.

The new towers will deliver improved coverage for over 3,000 residents, enabling access to better call quality and faster and more reliable data services. As demand for mobile data grows in Savai’i, the investment underscores Digicel Samoa’s commitment to expanding digital access and supporting community and economic development.

Digicel Samoa Chief Executive Officer, Karl Vizvary, said the new towers demonstrate the company’s commitment to connecting the people of Samoa.

“At Digicel Samoa, we are committed to connecting every community across the country,” he said.

He added that the launch of the new towers in Samalaeulu and Falelima strengthens Digicel’s network in Savai’i, enabling its customers to enjoy reliable mobile and data services.

“We will continue to invest in infrastructure that supports communication, digital access, and the growth of Samoa,” said the Vizvary.

The network upgrades are part of a broader strategy to expand coverage, boost capacity, and ensure that Samoan communities, from anywhere, can stay connected for work, education, commerce, and everyday communication.

The activation of the Samalaeulu and Falelima towers is one of several planned enhancements across Samoa in 2026 as Digicel Samoa continues its mission to deliver enhanced connectivity, drive digital transformation, and support the future growth of the nation.
