The Fijian community in Samoa celebrated their nation’s 55th Independence Day on Friday night at Don Bosco High School and Vocational Centre with a vibrant display of culture, unity, and gratitude, not just for Fiji’s independence from British rule in 1970, but also for the home they’ve found in Samoa.
