Official count ends, FAST takes 30 seats

After the final count for the 2025 elections concluded at 4:19 pm on Thursday, Faʻatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) had 30 seats, Human Rights Protection Party 14, Samoa Uniting Party three, while four seats went to independents.
This was after four days of continuous work by the Office of the Electoral Commissioner (OEC) staff.
The count, which began on Monday, required tireless effort and coordination from everyone involved.
Seumanutafa Lima Vaepule, Press Officer for the OEC, expressed thanks to all who contributed to the process, including police officers, scrutineers, members of the media, and the Electoral Commissioner himself.
The final constituency to be counted was Anoamaa 2.
