Manufacturers choose new board

The Samoa Association of Manufacturing and Exporters (SAME) has elected their new executives, with Afoa Stefan Szegedi as president. 

Their vision is to transform Samoa's manufacturing and export sectors into internationally competitive industries through innovation, sustainability, and excellence, enhancing our nation's prosperity. 

"We look forward to a productive year of service, collaboration, and results. SAME will continue to work alongside national and regional partners to create an enabling environment that supports sustainable business growth, innovation, and international market access for our members," Afoa said.

"As incoming President, I would like to thank all government ministries, organisations and the private sector partners for their past support to SAME and look forward to working together with them again going forward. SAME invites all stakeholders to engage with the new Executive Council as it charts a unified path forward for Samoa’s manufacturing and export sectors."

The newly elected Executive Council is as follows:

President - Afoa Stefan Szegedi – Treasure Box Samoa

Vice President - Donald Narayan – Pacific Technologies

Secretary - Nathan Wilson – Wilex Samoa

Treasurer - Anish Chandra – Vodafone Samoa

The Executive Council Members are, Charlie Vaai (Vailima), Jackie Adams (Pacific Apparel), Maria Leota (Kuki Samoa), Mayday LaungHing (Frankies Supermarket), Niko Vui (Nonu Samoa), Raymond Voigt (Beekeepers Association), Robert Pereira (Maali Company), Sabrina Percival (Natural Foods International).
