Dux dedicate achievements to her late father

The Tesese Institute dux has dedicated her achievement to her late father together with her mother and family and friends who supported her academic journey.

During the ceremony at the Maota o Tupulaga Hall at Mulinuu, Aloema Salu topped the Diploma in Office and Communication Program to come first in software application, office administration and business communication.

The 30-year-old credited her academic success to God while acknowledging the kindness and support of her family and friends throughout her studies. 

“Firstly, I would like to give thanks to our heavenly father for his love and guidance which pushed me to achieve these awards,” said Ms. Salu. “I would also like to acknowledge my families and friends for their support and for showing kindness to be part of my journey.

"Thank you all so much.”

Her mother Kaloline Salu said she is so excited for her daughter’s achievement and glad that all her hard work and sleepless nights had finally paid off.

“I am so happy for my daughter’s achievement for this year, knowing the fact that all her sleepless nights and hard work finally paid off.”

According to Ms. Salu, she enrolled at the Tesese Institute for only a year and started from Certificate 4 then got promoted to take the diploma program after the first semester. 


Ms. Salu said she will continue her strive for excellence in the future and she hopes to learn more to become a good leader in the future.

“For the future, I completed a diploma in business and communication and that is why I am going to continue my study in the future. Looking for an opportunity to further that knowledge so that I can be able to become one of those leaders in the future.”


Ms. Salu highlighted the message of “fighting the good battle” and “one who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much” to encourage young people to study hard and put God before all else.
