Bank South Pacific (B.S.P) Samoa has confirmed its support as a Gold sponsor to Samoa Medical Association’s (S.M.A) 70th Anniversary and Scientific Seminar to be held from the 26th May to 31st May 2017.

One of the vital areas of any country is their health system. And the S.M.A has served as the foremost organisation, undertaking advocacy and capacity building for local and visiting doctors in Samoa.

This Seminar will focus heavily on emerging health issues that are deemed to be of great health risk to the people of Samoa and her health system.

“B.S.P recognises the efforts of all the Doctors and Nurses who are working tirelessly to improve our health system.

It is through these forums that I believe will bring together talents that can contribute and add value to the betterment and improvement of our health system,” said Business Manager Michelle Lemisio during the handover of cheque $2,000 and merchandise worth of $3,000.

“I have always been saying B.S.P respects and value the communities that we operate in and we want to grow together with the community, and what’s a community if our health system is poor?

“I do hope that our modest assistance this morning will help these professionals with their goal in identifying health issues that may be of risk to our people and also identifying solutions for these issues.”

With a commitment to supporting the Samoan Community, BSP continues to extend its helping hand in any way in order to help grow with the Samoan community.
