Unfounded scare apocalypse

Re: Frightening reality of cyclone season

This is scientifically somewhat over the top. More like dogma.

According to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), the average global temperature on Earth has increased by about 0.8° Celsius (1.4° Fahrenheit) since 1880.

This I believe is pretty well accepted in the scientific community.

Even if all of this temperature rise was man made (and it is not) it would be a very small price to pay for the advances made in the suppression of starvation and disease and increase in standard of living over the past century.

I know of no scientific linkage between known climate change and major weather events. Do you? How much has this 0.8° C increased sea level? How much has this temperature rise contributed to weather depressions! Very, very little, but not known.

Climate is a long term weather shift, and is influenced by a number of complex interactions, movements of sea current, upper level atmosphere currents, angle of earths spin, energy output of the sun, the distance between the sun and the earth, and many other factors you and I could barely understand, and yes the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Your article is poor journalism. Promoting an unfounded scare apocalypse. Based on this scientifically ignorant sort of writing, people in Samoa are even advising their grandchildren not to have children. This is awful. The future of mankind is wonderful, maybe incurring a degree or two in temperature, maybe not, but so what! Best of Luck,
