A lot of nonsense from Mr. Seti Afoa

Dear Editor,

Who is this Afoa character? The weather man?

Seems he came out of nowhere a few years ago and has had far too much to say around the place, barrowing his inflated ego, whilst pushing good people and his big mouth around, playing at the big fish in the little pond.

Nine swimmers he had in the Upolu to Savai’i event - that’s all - big deal.

I’ve been told he charged ridiculous prices.

Equivalent Hawaiian and other Pacific swims are less than half his prices and some a lot less. He would probably refute this, but they’re on line for all to see. Perhaps he sees Samoa as his gold mine.

He is a self-confessed Kiwi ref: your paper and his Facebook page.

Advice: come back to NZ Afoa, where your nonsense and drivel wouldn’t have been tolerated before you left and won’t be now.

Leave the Samoan people alone. They are not only subjected to you lime lighting in the paper and social media, but of late your mouth on the radio as well.

I hope the MET office drag his hide through court after his last lot of rubbish!

If he responds to this, recalling tales of all his other events or “Oh what a good boy am I – look what I have done for Samoa,” or anything else, I hope the readers of this paper will see through anything he says.
