There are laws to stop sex work

Dear Editor

Interesting call from M.P. Olo to the “government to end commercial sex work in Samoa.”

I didn’t know the government were operating commercial sex services!

Last I heard, prostitution was illegal, so there are laws in place to stop it if that is what they want, but obviously this fool wants to get into a talk fest and waste time and money on legislation not needed.

With unemployment being such an issue, how is it they can simply offer these sex workers jobs?

Why not make these jobs available to those unemployed that want to work?
