Exploring the dark sea
by Marcus van Heeswyk
On the 16th February, a federal organisation ship called the NOAA (National Oceanic Atmosphere And Administration) called into Samoa.
NOAA’S office of OER (Oceanic Atmosphere And Administration) is the only federal organisation that is determined to explore our undiscovered seas.
There are 186 skilled scientists connected to the NOAA. These scientists are committed to solving the mysteries of the seas.
The Head Scientists name is Dr Santiago Herrera. He makes sure that all his good scientists are working hard.
Let’s wish them luck on their long journey at sea.
Andy Fa’apusa, a Year 8 student who visited the ship said, “it was an interesting experience.”
