The price of fish is becoming steeper. People who bought fresh fish last weekend will attest to it. Some are wondering if the fisher folk are spending money raising fish to explain the steepness.

PLAYING IN RAIN

Rain is a good time for children to come and out, and play but playing in drains running with a strong flow is not a good idea. Supervision is needed.

UMU SELLERS

Can the Ministry of Health do a spot check on ‘umu-sellers’? The quality of the product could be a lot better. Perhaps a standard set because half the time, they are either undercooked or two days old.

CLOSING TIME

It could be a good idea for some popular eateries to open a bit longer. Some tourists were overheard complaining that the 9 pm closing time for an eatery that opens late was unheard of.

NEW CALEDONIA

Violence has erupted in New Caledonia. Perhaps Israel and Gaza were too far away for the government to say anything. What would be their call on this?

UPGRADE

The upgrade work done by a telecommunication provider seems to be a downgrade. Even the calls to local numbers are dropping. Hopefully, when the work finishes, things are upgraded.
