The Supreme Court has jailed two men after they conned people into believing they were seasonal work agents who could organise for them to be sent abroad to work.

Presiding over the matter, Acting Chief Justice, Vui Clarence Nelson ruled last week that Joseph Lafaele – also known as Jodeen of Togafuafua and Falelatai – and Viliamu Tuigamala Faaleleiga, also known as Vivien of Sapunaoa and Nofoalii were sentenced to 4 years 6 months imprisonment.
