You cannot improve paradise, says of 62-year-old Craig Doar.

Mr. Doar is a first time visitor to Samoa and the beauty of the country and its people is more than he expected.

“How can I improve Samoa? You’ve got it all, the friendly people, the culture and the food, so no need to improve anything,” he told the Dear Tourist team yesterday.

Mr. Doar flew into Samoa with his daughter and granddaughters for a family vacation.

“This is my first time here in Samoa and I have to say it is such a beautiful place and beautiful people as my son in law said, very beautiful women.”

He works at Saint John’s ambulance back in Australia as an equipment officer and this is his family trip away from home.

He is planning to go to the waterfall on Wednesday and to do as much site seeing as possible before their one week trip to the islands ends.

“I love palusami so much that I even went back and got more of it and I even googled it to find out how to make it because the lady said you have to get taro leaves, which we can’t find in Australia,” Mr. Doar said.

“I also love the thought that we can make clothes from a tree and the way they do it very amazing too.”

In addition, he also said the people from at the market were very friendly, including the staff of Taumeasina Island Resort.

Mr. Doar lives in Perth, Australia and is very excited to have visited Samoa.

“I will definitely come back again.”
