The Talimanao Family Club “TFC” regifting game( pyramid scheme)at Alamagoto has been force to refund all the spots that were genuinely purchased from the”TFC”.The decision was made due to concerns raised by member of the public and the Talimanao Family Club game is now temporary suspended while they conducted internal investigation on some matters.

But spoken to some players Peresitene and his wife Tafa’i of Vailoa who owns a market block in town, in an interview under the Wesley Arcade Building, said that they purchases one thousand dollars in total starting from the month of Febuary this year. Tafa’i said ,she remembered that her and her husband gave 5 $25 purchases on Peresitene and 3 $25 on her when the game sellers came to sell and gave them receipts.” If I remember well, we spend $1000 as we purchase our money three to four times with the same amount since we played. They told us the dates that we will received and get our interest back but 3 times, we didn’t received any money at all just  gave us different story and difrent excuses every time we come. After the seminar held at Maliumai yesterday Monday 12th, all we want is to return back our money to us. We just want our refund, but we got here at Sonya’s office under Wesley Arcade, and her employees at Leififi Travel Agent gave us the letter in English that no one wants to read, but no Sonya no money, just the letter. Why didn’t she write a letter in Samoan so that we can understand completely rather than English while all the players are Samoan “ said Tafa’i.

The Samoa Observer have a copy of the letter that issue by the Talimanao Family Club on the 13th April to all the players to informed them of what is happening currently and what they plan to do. The letters explained and says “ TFC game is compromised due to concerns  raised by members of the public and fake-sellers posing as some of our Agents in Upolu and Savaii. These fake-sellers  appeared to have been selling tickets between $25.00-$50.oo, respectively.  As a result, our office has been inundated with inquiries and claims that were either illegitimate or erroneous.  We discovered that players either had invalid ID’s and/or receipts did not match their ID’s. In additions, some players used the names of their deceased relatives and minors to purchase tickets. Other name just didn’t exist at all. To be clear we do not permit minors to play and we do require genuine players of legal age to participate if they wish. We also found players that resided overseas and some were business abusing their privileges.”

Regrettably, we have decided to temporarily suspend our TFC game while we investigate this matter further.  In doing so, we are left with no other choice but to refund all the spots that were genuinely purchased from TFC. Please note that all refunds will be paid out on 21 May 2021-30 May 2021. We require ID’s and receipts to ensure genuine payout.”  Letter By Talimanao Family Club

Following complaints about the schemes surfacing, M.C.I.L. made it clear that there are laws that restrict the public from being involved in pyramid schemes. The Central Bank of Samoa had also warned members of the public that pyramid schemes are illegal.

The Samoa observer attempt Talimanao Family club for comment on Tuesday to Friday by going to their office under Wesley arcade and on the phone everyday but it was unsuccessful.
