Natalie winner with Island Rock

Natalie Lameko of Tanugamanono has won a brand new Samsung S9 valued at $3,299 thanks to Island Rock Company Ltd.

Natalie entered the company’s Facebook Competition by making the 25 Days of Christmas Campaign logo as her profile picture. She attracted the most number of likes, 3,200.

“This is the first time I have gotten a Samsung phone, I have never used the Samsung brand, I have had Nokia and iPhone but now it is so exciting to be the owner of this new phone,” she said.

“I am truly grateful to Island Rock for my brand new phone; I will use it to capture memories together with my kids and family by taking lots of photos.”

General Manager of Island Rock, Tuaopepe Jerry Wallwork, said more than 500 people participated in the competition.

“The main objective was to spread the spirit of Christmas by using the campaign that was mainly focused on giving back to the community.”

“We had three weeks for the competition to run and entries had hash tag #IR25daysofthespiritofChristmas and tag the company page, so we were able to view on our notifications.”

“We will have another competition but bigger than this, for this coming Christmas and because the 25 Days of the Spirit of Christmas will be an annual Christmas Campaign,” Tuaopepe said.

Tuaopepe added that the main highlight of previous campaign was their Santa’s Day out by giving gifts to the vulnerable families, to the Home of the Elderlies at Mapufagalele and also Campus of Hope.
